A prognostication opinion game that surfaces the dynamic between The Federalists, who drafted the Constitution as the highest law of the land, and the Anti-Federalists who wanted to ensure that the people had an individual Bill of Rights.

This game was developed to be used alongside the Bill of Rights Institute's Government and Politics: Civics For the American Experiment Core Resource.

Game Time: 10-30 minutes

Game Play:

  • Teams are given five words and asked to rank them in terms of importance to their assigned political party. 
  • Teams compete to collect cards that spell "LAW OF THE LAND". The first team to collect all 12 lettered cards wins.
  • Game simulates the debate between Federalists and Anti-Federalists during the formation of the U.S. Constitution
